Day 01 : Ahmedabad
Pick up from Ahmedabad. Transfer to Hotel. Second half sightseeing in Ahmedabad. Overnight stay.
Day 02 : Ahmedabad to Jamnagar
Transfer to Jamnagar. Evening visit to Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary, a possible site for the Indian skimmer. This sanctuary is a breeding area for many species of birds that do not nest elsewhere in peninsular India. Great-crested grebe, black-necked stork, Caspian tern and many other birds can be seen besides most of the species recorded in the Little Rann area. Overnight stay.
Day 03 : Jamnagar
Visit Marine National Park. Overnight stay at Jamnagar.
Day 04 : Jamnagar to Dwarka
Transfer to Dwarka. Beyt Dwarka, also known as Beyt Shankhodhar, is a small island and was the main port in the region before the development of Okha. It offers opportunities to spot dolphins, marine excursions, camping and picnicking. Most of the archaelogical ruins excavated here and the religious manuscripts, correspond with Beyt Dwarka as the original abode of Lord Krishna. Sightseeing and overnight stay.
Day 05 : Dwarka
Sightseeing in and around Dwarka. Visit Byet Dwarka. Overnight stay at Dwarka.
Day 06 : Dwarka to Somnath
Transfer to Somnath which is famous for Somnath Temple. Facing the wide open Arabian Sea, the temple at Somnath is an imposing structure offering a spectacular sight to the beholders. At a distance of 79 km from Junagadh and 25 km from Chorwad is the temple of Somnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The legend says, Somnath was built by none other than the Moon God himself at the time of creation. The remains of the temple “braved the shocks of time and survived the attacks of destroyers.” On the way visit Porbander Sea Beach. Overnight stay at Somnath.
Day 07 : Somnath to Diu
Transfer to Diu. Diu is one of the undiscovered gems of India with pristine beaches and exquisite scenery apart from the other places of historical interest. Some of the popular beaches in Diu are the Nagoa beach, Jalandhar beach and Ghoghla beach. Overnight stay at Diu.
Day 08 : Diu to Junagadh
Transfer to Junagadh. Few places offer you the chance to probe the earth and the heavens, the human and the wild, as Junagadh does. Towering over the city is Mt. Girnar, a holy site for Hindus and Jains that is climbed by a 9999-step staircase along peaks studded by temples that reach for the sky and look out across the plains. Walking up these stairs in pilgrimage is a unique experience of striving towards the heavens.
Day 09 : Junagadh to Ahmedabad
Return back to Ahmedabad. Board flight/train for return journey.
